Ok, because you always wonder what to buy me as a gift, I figured I might as well do the work and compile a list. Perhaps next time I get the right thing. Who knows… In any case, if you do hit the jackpot from the lottery (which in Holland even comes tax free!), please, do think of me.

• The Eizo ColorEdge CG242W monitor (although the ColorEdge CG241W would do just fine)
• The Wacom Intuos4 L/A4 Wide tablet
• The Canon BG-E4 battery grip for Canon’s EOS 5D (rapidly disappearing from stock suppliers)
• The Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM wide-angle lens
• The Canon 85mm f/1.2 L II USM lens
• The Canon EOS 5D Mark II camera (so I can put my beaten 20D to rest… or more extreme use)
• The Manfrotto 468MGRC0 HydroStatic ball head
• The Lenovo ThinkPad W510 notebook (mind you, I’m even picky on the specifications, so contact me before ordering )
• The Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard (PC version now!)
• The Logitech X-540 5.1 speakers (tip: that’s a cheap one)
• The IKEA Markus desk chair (since I really use them to the max I need a new chair every one year or so)
